The Crestview Parent group is a group of interested parents working towards a better sense of community, service and support for the staff and Crestview families. Our goals are to build relationships between families, to support and partner with the school administration, and to serve the staff and students.
Some of the activities we currently have are:
- Mom's In Touch (Monday's), Teacher Appreciation (Monthly)
- Band and Choir boosters, Talent Show, Rummage Sale and the end of year Carnival.
- We raise money for the parent group through box top collection, uniform sales and the rummage sales.
- We then use that money to support school wide activities, donating a portion of it back to the school to be used where needed.
The time involvement for volunteers is as much or as little as your schedule permits. It is one of many ways to get involved and be apart of your children's school.
Our meetings are scattered throughout the school year, usually 2-3 per school year. They are currently held in the evenings.
We welcome your input and thoughts. Please contact Chris Lace or Ann Erickson to get involved. Can't remember names? Simply contact Jan, the school secretary and she will get you to the right people!
